Abstract
In response to the request of His Excellency, Theodore Francis Green, Governor of the State of Rhode Island and Providence Plantations, the advisory opinion of the Supreme Court was rendered April 1, 1935, upon questions relating to a constitutional convention.
The opinion of the Supreme Court together with the affirmative and negative briefs, prepared by distinguished members of the Rhode Island Bar, submitted to the Supreme Court upon these questions, are herein reprinted in documentary form for future reference in response to the widespread demand and because they are important historical contributions to the annals of this state, deservedly meriting preservation.
