Description
During this past academic year, the issue of textbook affordability was compounded by the large shift of students moved to remote learning and no longer having access to physical library reserve materials. There were many trial and errors before we found a way to provide this material, by designing a streamlined service for individuals to request book sections/chapters.
Over the past year, the JWU Library was able to provide access to over 40 reserve materials to remote learners through a process that is copyright-compliant, easy-to-manage, and low-cost for the library. In this presentation, we’ll show you how our service works from policy to procedure.
